11/11/2023 0 Comments Metal reaper online running slow![]() It's tight and fast, no weird OS "what the hell are those DLL's doing" crap. ![]() I want a dedicated machine for sequencing music. Maybe I need a SUPERFAST computer with a terabyte of ram. I am sure it did back in the days of caldera DOS and Fast tracker II. I am sure that my 486 dx33 could if it really wanted to do this with out too much hassle. I have removed windows services, I have reinstalled EVERY thing. I have tried WDM ASIO, I have checked boxes. the first bar is "different" to the second bar and just for kicks I tried different bit depths etc etc. the first bar has a drum track and a keys track, the second bar just the drums, waddya know. either it's playing faster (the hand brake came off) or it's pitching up (It's getting high). If I play two (2) wavefiles concurrently.( that means together) and mute one, the other one seems to change. What burns me the most is I have put waaaaaay too much time into this to get random weird stuff spoiling my buzz. I am insanely over this whole computer music crap. Man, when something bugs me this much I get ready to blow a fuse. ![]() hence the indents at the begining/end of the file.Įven the metronome speeds up and slows down. I have noted that reaper seems to think that the recordings are loops. I may try to trim all my files in sound forge and bring them back in as one shot samples. Now can anyone explain WHY this is happening and what I am doing wrong? If I solo the drum track the tempo speeds up. If I unmute the tracks the tempo slows down. While muting all tracks except the drums, the tempo speeds up. and press loop on transport.Īdd new audio track and repeat above a few time. (on the yamaha RX5 120 BPM equals 120.61 reaperBPM ) Hit stop on reaper.Īdjust reaperBPM till the reaperBPM is in time with file. ***Record a drum machine track***Īrm track, hit record, hit play on the dmachine. Like maybe trying to keep all of my audio tracks in time or something. I have a idea that maybe the time stretching part of reaper is trying to do something that I am unaware of. When playing back audio tracks, reaper slows down. My old thread for this problem was getting a bit tired.
